Moving a page
It can easily happen that a page is placed at the wrong spot or that with the time a new category makes sense that fits better. To move a page to another location you can rename it using the little paint roller icon on the right. (this only works if you are not editing the page).
If for example you want to move an exercise into the FSP Modelling group (02_user_tutorials:18_modeling) you should follow these steps:
- Prepare the new location: e.g. create a new group called “99_exercises” (so the exercises are always at the bottom of the list) and create the summary page - not the sub_page because this is the one we want to move.
- If required you can also create subgroups following the same structure
- Then you navigate to the first exercise and rename it to “02_user_tutorials:18_modeling:99_exercises:01_yourExercise”. This moves it automatically to the right location.
Moving groups
If you want to move a larger number of pages at the same time please reach out to a wiki admin, there is a back-end tool that makes this much easier.
