Creating a new Page
Creating new pages and groups should follow this structure to allow the automatic summary to work properly.
Naming
The naming of the pages is motivated based on the structure of the side menu. In this menu the items are order alphabetically. To avoid random orders each page name (seen only in the URL) starts with a two digit number and an underscore e.g. β03_β. This way the order is fixed. In some cases, e.g. the all plugins page, this can also be used to ensure that an item is always the last one (β99_β).
Add a page to an existing group
- Navigate to one of the pages in this group (not the group page!)
- Select new page on the menu on the right
- The name you enter should start with a number that defines the position of this entry.
If the group does not yet exist
In order to create a new group or sub group please do not use the new folder button on the right! This messes up our structure of the wiki :) (dont worry it can easily be fixed) Instead follow this steps:
- Add a page with the name of the group following add_a_page_to_an_existing_group
- Make this a group summary page and save
- Make sure you are on your new summary page
- Change the URL in your browser by adding :01_name_of_your_first_sub_page at the very end
- This should bring you to a page with the title βThis topic does not exist yetβ
- Create the page using the pencil button on the right
- After saving this creates the first page in group (The content of this page can be also a summary if you plan on creating a further nested group)
Additional pages can be created using add_a_page_to_an_existing_group
