File
The File menu contains menu entries for creating and opening projects and for closing GroIMP.
New
Creates a new project based on the existing templates.
The default templates are:
- Project: an empty project for 3d geometry manipulations.
- RGG project: a very basic rgg project.
Open
It triggers the load project command.
You can load a project from a file with File > Open.
Different file formats are available: GS and GSZ are GroIMP's native project formats, the other formats are imported into a new project.
Open recent
Triggers the load project command on a recently opened project. The list contains the 20 last opened projects. It is only visible if projects were opened before.
Example projects
Opens the example project panel.
The “example projects” panel display all embedded example available in the current GroIMP installation. Each example have an overview, some available versions, and can be opened in GroIMP. Additional plugins can include examples, which would be displayed here.
Exit
Closes GroIMP.
